How to delete your account and data
Delete Your Account
You can delete your Vine Bible account and all associated data at any time. Follow these steps:
- Open the Vine Bible app
- Go to Profile (bottom-right tab)
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision in the dialog
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days:
- Your account profile (email, username, profile photo)
- Highlights and bookmarks
- Notes (reader notes and global notes)
- Devotion check-in records
- AI conversation history
- Growth system progress (badges, points)
- Reading statistics and history
- Subscription information (your subscription itself must be cancelled separately through Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
Knowledge Base Data
Notes you contributed to shared Knowledge Bases may remain visible to other members unless you delete them before deleting your account. Knowledge Bases you created will be transferred to another admin or deleted if no other admins exist.
Alternative: Email Request
If you are unable to access the app, you can also request account deletion by sending an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
